At The Bagelry, we serve the perfect bagel. Bagel purists and casual bagelers alike will be delighted by the malt aroma, crispy exterior and tender crumb. A flavor experience that can only be achieved by using one special ingredient: time. Our bakers at The Bagelry take the time to select the proper ingredients. We give our bagels extra time to develop flavors with an overnight rise. And, we take the time to use the traditional methods of hand rolling and kettle boiling.
While the perfect bagel is good for the soul, a bagel shop is good for the community. It’s a place to start your morning ritual, begin your weekend retreat, or break bread with loved ones. As residents of Over the Rhine, we felt the absence of such a place. So, our family intends to bring that to Over the Rhine with The Bagelry.
After several years of refining our recipe, we started out in 2017 by offering bagels at local farmers markets and popup shops, and confirmed that Cincy was anxiously awaiting a new local bagel shop. The Bagelry's first brick and mortar shop opened in October 2018, at 1401 Walnut Street, in the heart of the neighborhood we've fallen in love with.
